The objective of Contract Administration is to ensure that both the Contractor and the Owner fulfill their contractual obligations. Contract Administration begins after award and ends with contract closeout.

The following services are typically provided during contract administration:

 

·          Securing Insurance and Bond Certifications

 

·          Contractor Mobilization coordination

 

·          Establishing and maintaining a contract filing system that retains all documents generated relating to the contract

 

·          Coordinating communications between the contractor, the owner and others involved in the project

 

·          Monitoring Contractor performance and schedule compliance

 

·          Monitoring Safety performance and documenting safety incidents

 

·          Validating Progress Payment Requests based on actual progress

 

·          Tracking Supplier’s invoices and payments

 

·          Obtaining technical acceptance or rejection of the work

 

·          Tracking and Evaluating requests for Change Orders

 

·          Mitigating claims in a manner that minimizes added costs

 

·          Contract Close Out

 

·          Contractor Demobilization coordination
